About WeaveAI Tools
WeaveAI Tools is a set of 71 free tools for PDFs, images, text and code, in 6 categories: PDF, Image, Text, Developer, Security and AI builders. Every tool does its work inside your browser, so the files you open in it stay on your device.
Why we built it
Most online file tools upload your file to a server, process it there, and send the result back. That is a lot of trust to place in a site you found a minute ago, especially for contracts, payslips, ID scans or a client's data. Modern browsers can merge a PDF, compress a photo or format JSON on their own, so we built tools that do exactly that and never ask for your file.
How it works
- 67 of the 71 tools run entirely in your browser: once the page has loaded, nothing you open or type is sent anywhere. The one exception is an optional check you choose to run, and the tool says exactly what that sends.
- 2 tools use an on-device model. The model downloads once, from this site, and then runs in your browser like everything else.
- 2 tools check a public website, such as the AI crawler checker. They send only the web address you type; our server fetches that site's public files and returns the result without storing it.
We check this on every release. An automated test loads each tool with a marked test file and fails the release if anything carrying that file leaves the browser. The privacy page lists every tool and exactly what, if anything, it sends.
Free, with no sign-up and no daily limit
You can use every tool without an account, as often as you like. Because the work happens on your device, running a tool again costs us nothing, so there is no reason to ration it. We may add an optional paid Pro plan for extra features later; it is not available yet, and nothing on this site needs it.
Built on open source
Alongside code we wrote ourselves and features built into your browser, the tools load 19 open-source engines and data sets. Each is used under its own licence, and we check that licence before a tool ships.
