How to use Invoice generator

  1. Choose invoice, quote, estimate or receipt, then set the number, dates and currency.
  2. Pick the tax: none, sales tax, VAT (with reverse charge) or GST (CGST + SGST or IGST).
  3. Fill in your details, add your logo, and choose or type the client.
  4. Add the items with quantity, price, discount and tax rate, and check the live totals.
  5. Select Create PDF and download it. Save your details and clients in this browser if you like.

Invoices, quotes and receipts from one form

Choose the kind of document and the wording follows: an invoice has a due date and can show a deposit already paid and the balance due, a quote or estimate has a valid-until date, and a receipt records the amount received and how it was paid. Numbers carry on from the last PDF you made here, so INV-0041 is followed by INV-0042, keeping any prefix, year and zero padding.

Tax the way it's printed where you work

Pick no tax, a sales tax rate, VAT or Indian GST. Each item can have its own rate, with a default for the rest. VAT invoices show both VAT numbers and a summary per rate, and reverse charge removes the VAT and prints a note you can reword. GST invoices are titled Tax Invoice and show both GSTINs (checked for typos), HSN or SAC codes and the place of supply; the tool splits tax into equal CGST and SGST within a state, or IGST between states, and can round the total to the rupee. The tool prints what you choose; it doesn't decide which rates or rules apply to you, so check them with your accountant or your tax authority.

Totals that add up

Amounts are worked out in whole cents, or the currency's own smallest unit (none for yen, thousandths for dinars), never in floating point. Each line is rounded half-up: quantity times price, then the discount, then the tax, and the totals are sums of those lines, so every printed figure adds up. Any ISO currency works, formatted in the number and date style you pick; where the built-in font lacks a symbol, such as the rupee sign, the code is printed instead.

A real PDF, made on your device

The PDF is built in your browser with real, selectable text, not a screenshot, so it stays a few kilobytes plus your logo, prints sharply and can be searched. Nothing is uploaded. If you choose, your business details, logo and clients are saved in this browser's storage, and Forget saved details removes them. The built-in fonts cover Western European letters; if a name uses others, the tool tells you which field to change.

Questions

Is my invoice uploaded anywhere?
No. The totals are worked out and the PDF is built in your browser. Your details, clients and invoice numbers are saved only if you choose to, and only in this browser's storage; nothing is sent to WeaveAI.
How are the totals rounded?
In whole cents (or the currency's smallest unit), half-up, line by line: quantity times price, then the discount, then the tax. The totals are sums of those rounded lines, so the PDF always adds up. Some tax authorities compute tax on the invoice total instead, which can differ by a cent; check your local rules.
Does it handle Indian GST and EU VAT correctly?
It prints GSTINs, HSN/SAC codes, place of supply, and CGST + SGST (equal halves) or IGST; for VAT it prints VAT numbers, a summary per rate and a reverse-charge note you can edit. It doesn't decide which rate or rule applies to you: that's for your accountant or your tax authority's guidance.
Why can't I use some letters in names?
The PDF uses the standard built-in fonts, which keep files tiny and text selectable but cover Western European letters only. Characters such as Ł, ő or Devanagari can't be printed yet; the tool names the field so you can change it.
