Organize PDF

Runs on your device

See every page as a thumbnail, then drag to reorder, rotate, delete, duplicate or add pages, and save one PDF. Free, nothing uploaded.

How to use Organize PDF

  1. Choose one or more PDFs. Every page appears as a thumbnail, in order.
  2. Drag pages into the order you want, or use the arrow buttons on each page to move it earlier or later.
  3. Rotate, duplicate or delete single pages, insert blank pages, or add pages from another PDF. Undo and Redo step through every change.
  4. Select Save PDF and download the new file. It is built in your browser.

What happens to your file

When you choose a PDF, your browser reads it into the memory of this tab. The thumbnails are drawn by pdf.js, an open-source PDF renderer loaded from this site, and only for the pages you scroll to, so a long document opens quickly. When you save, pdf-lib builds the new file in a background worker inside the same tab.

Nothing is sent to WeaveAI or anyone else. You can check: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and organize a file. You will see the PDF engines load once from this site, and nothing carrying your document.

Everything you can do to a page

Drag a page to a new position, or use the arrow buttons under it to move it one place earlier or later. Rotate a single page a quarter turn at a time; the turn is added to any rotation the page already had. Duplicate a page to repeat it, insert a blank page after any page (it takes that page's size), delete pages you don't need, and add the pages of another PDF to the end of the list.

Every change can be undone and redone, with the buttons or with Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z. Nothing touches your file until you select Save PDF, and your original stays unchanged on your device.

Built to work without a mouse

Every action is a real button you can reach with the Tab key, labelled with the page it acts on, and each change is announced to screen readers. Dragging is a shortcut, never the only way to reorder.

What the new PDF contains

Pages are copied as they are, not re-rendered from the thumbnails, so text stays selectable and images keep their full resolution. The file records no title, author or dates from your originals. Bookmarks, links that jump to another page, and interactive form fields are not carried over, and password-protected PDFs need the password removed first.

Questions

Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Thumbnails are drawn by pdf.js and the new file is built by pdf-lib, both running in your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can I reorder pages without a mouse?
Yes. Every page has Move earlier and Move later buttons you can reach with the Tab key, and each move is announced to screen readers. Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z undo and redo.
Does reorganizing reduce quality?
No. The thumbnails are only previews. Pages are copied into the new PDF as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their resolution.
Can I combine pages from two PDFs?
Yes. Choose several files at the start, or use Add pages from another PDF later. Their pages join the end of the list, and you can move them anywhere.
