Delete PDF pages

Runs on your device

Remove pages from a PDF by number and keep the rest in order. Runs in your browser, nothing uploaded.

How to use Delete PDF pages

  1. Choose the PDF.
  2. Enter the pages to delete, for example 2, 5-7.
  3. Select Delete pages. The remaining pages keep their original order.
  4. Download the new PDF. Your original file is not changed.

What happens to your file

When you choose a PDF, your browser reads it into the memory of this tab. The work runs in a background worker inside the same tab, using pdf-lib, an open-source PDF library. The result is handed back to the page and saved through your browser's normal download.

Nothing is sent to WeaveAI or anyone else, so there is no copy to delete afterwards. You can check: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and run the tool. You will see the PDF engine load once from this site, and nothing carrying your document.

Choosing pages to delete

Type page numbers and ranges separated by commas: 2 removes page two, 5-7 removes pages five to seven, and 10- removes everything from page ten to the end. The page count shown next to the file name helps you check the numbers before you run it.

The tool refuses to delete every page, and it tells you if a number runs past the end of the document, so a typo never produces an empty or wrong file.

What the new PDF contains

The pages you keep stay in their original order and are copied as they are, with selectable text and full-resolution images. Images and fonts that only appeared on deleted pages are left out, so the file usually gets smaller.

Deleting pages in a viewer and printing to PDF can flatten text into images. This tool does not: it copies the remaining pages directly. The original file on your device is not changed, and the new file records no dates or author.

Common uses

Removing blank pages a scanner added, dropping the cover and terms pages before sharing an invoice, taking out a page with personal details before forwarding a form, or trimming appendices from a report. If the pages you want to keep are fewer than the ones to remove, Extract pages is quicker.

Questions

Can I undo a deletion?
Your original file is never changed; the tool creates a new PDF. Keep the original if you might need the pages again.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The pages are removed by code running in your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server.
Does the file get smaller?
Usually. Images and fonts used only on the deleted pages are left out of the new file.
